Beginners Wild Camping - £110 per person

Have you ever wanted to camp out high up on the hills or prepare for bigger expeditions ahead but don’t no where to start or what you will need for an enjoyable night ? This event is perfect for those looking to try out wild camping for their first time and gain confidence to head out on their own or with friends.

We will be walking for approx 12KM both days and carrying our own kit so you must have a good level of fitness. We will aim to camp high if weather allows but plans may change due to weather.

What the day will include -

We will meet about 1pm on the Saturday. Before we set off we will check through our kit and learn how to pack a larger kit to carry comfortably for our walk.

We will be navigating along the way until we reach our camp spot enjoying the hike at a pace to suit the group. Once we have reached our camp spot we will cover camp craft skills from choosing a pitch , setting up the tent, keeping warm at night, leave no trace and much more. Giving you all the skills you need to know to start enjoying the freedom of wild camping.

After we are set up and had dinner the evening is yours to chill out, watch the sunset and enjoy some spectacular mountain scenery.

There will be a chance to get up early and watch the sunrise and have a relaxed morning before we pack up camp and start our walk back out. We will cover emergency procedures and calling for help in different ways throughout the morning.
