This day is for those with previous winter hill experience and good hill fitness as we will be covering rough and steep terrain. We will aim for the two munros but it will all depend on group ability and ground conditions.
                                                                                                                                                                                                               What the day includes -
We will meet at the car park at 7.30am, an early start to ensure we can get parked before the crowds arrive. From there we will start our walk and head into Coire Nan Lochain making our way to the first Munro of the day , Bidean Nam Bian.
With the hardest part of ascent now out the way we can enjoy a well deserved break and bite to eat whilst taking in the stunning surrounding views. Bidean rises above all other mountains in the Argyll area and makes for an excellent day out.
All depending on how the group get on and ground conditions we will aim for the two Munros.
From Bidean we will make our way to the second Munro of the day , Stob Coire Sgreamhach. The day isn’t over yet as we retrace our steps back to the bealach and drop into “ the lost valley “ a brilliant way to finish a great day on the hills. We will stop for a break and enjoy the valley a place full of history where the Macdonald clan hid cattle.
