Ring Of Steall - Mamores - SOLD OUT

Ring of Steall, Mamores range, Fort William - £65 per person
4 Munros - 17KM - 1676M Ascent - 9 to 11 hours
The Ring of Steall is a real classic mountain route combining the traverse of four Munros with scrambling along narrow, rocky aretes. The route takes in An Gearanach, Stob Choire a Chairn, Am Bodach and then follows The Devils Ridge to Sgurr a’Mhaim.
We will meet at 7.45am and will start with a steep ascent up to Sgurr a’Mhaim, our first Munro of the day. Being in the centre of the Mamores range the views are outstanding all day with lots of photo opportunities.
Next on to The Devils Ridge, a short lived rocky arete which can be bypassed if you don’t feel up for it, then pushing up to our second Munro of the day and half way around The Ring Of Steall.
Another two Munros to go as we work our way around this epic circuit. We will descend into Glen Nevis passing the Steall falls and over the wire bridge for a pleasant walk back to the car park.
This event requires a good level of fitness as we will be out for the duration of the day.
There will be two mountain leaders on this event.
