Introduction to Rock Climbing evening event - £35 per person

A great fun day for beginners, a perfect way to experience climbing on real rock for those with little or no experience. Give Rock Climbing a go at one of our chosen crags all under the safety of a qualified Rock Climbing Instructor.

What the evening includes -

We will meet at 6pm at the car park and head to the crag where we will get a chance to meet everyone in the group and get kitted up. Starting with some fun games to get us warmed up and ready to climb.

Learn how to fit and adjust your climbing helmet and harness , about the kit we are using , movement on the rock, hand and foot placements / using natural holds and lots more.

As it’s a group event, turns will be taken to climb a route as the instructor will be in control of the rope at all times. This gives you a chance to grab a quick break between each route and enjoy the crag experience, so bring an extra layer, plenty snacks and a flask of tea/ coffee.

Helmet , harness and climbing shoes can be hired at £10 per person. Please state if you require to hire equipment upon booking along with your shoe and waist size.
